Work Experience Round 1 officially launched on November 17, and we’re excited to share that nearly 60 students were successfully placed in community workplaces. Despite the added challenges caused by recent labour action, our team worked hard to support as many students as possible in securing meaningful placements.
We want to extend our sincere appreciation to the parents/gaurdians, staff, and students whose flexibility, effort, and encouragement helped make this round a success. Your commitment ensured that our students were still able to gain valuable real-world experience.
Early feedback from our community partners has been very positive. Many have shared how impressed they are with our students’ work ethic, enthusiasm, and readiness to learn. We look forward to celebrating these achievements together when students return to school on December 15.
Round 1 has already given us so much to be proud of—and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings!
